Important customs information:

To temporarily import and re-export robotic equipment into Switzerland
an "ATA Carnet", an international customs document which relieves the
holder from normally applicable duties and taxes, has to be used; see
www.atacarnets.org for details and professional advice. It is
important that all goods listed in this carnet have to be re-exported
completely and without modification.
Individuals or firms wishing to use an ATA carnet to move goods in and
out of Switzerland must submit an application to their national
guaranteeing organization, usually their local customs authorities.
[Note that the application incurs fees and a collateral which is
returned by the home national guaranteeing organization after the
re-export from Switzerland.]
